The collaboration between STATEMENT and Tiffany Bouelle was born out of a meeting between two women and their shared attraction for geometric lines and sculptural forms, from which they draw a story and an emotion.
For Tiffany Bouelle, this interest is expressed through her creations and her lines, inspired by the art of calligraphy that she learned as a child from her grandfather in Japan. In fact, it was not only the lines of the STATEMENT creations, but also its universe of codes borrowed from Art Deco and Brutalist architecture that captivated her.
For her part, Amélie Huynh, who often draws her inspiration from art, contacted the artist with whom she shares a creative sensibility, charmed by the idea of extending the STATEMENT universe through a unique artwork.
Tiffany then infused her creativity into her brushes and created a painting, two Japanese watercolours and a digital artwork whose reflections change according to the play of light, evoking a chiaroscuro emblematic of the duality embodied by the STATEMENT collections.
The collaboration continues with the creation of a fresco on the window of the STATEMENT boutique at 1, rue du 29 juillet.
